Dance Etiquette
To create a comfortable, respectful, and enjoyable environment for everyone, we ask all dancers to follow basic dance etiquette during classes and social events.
- Personal hygiene is important (fresh clothes, deodorant, etc.)
- Be respectful and friendly to your dance partners
- Ask politely for a dance and accept refusals gracefully
- Focus on connection, not force
- Be mindful of space on the dance floor
- No teaching or correcting your partner during social dancing
- Arrive on time and stay present during class
- Respect the instructor and other students
